As soon as Tasmania was announced as host of Aussie Nash Hash 2011, people started to bring forward their thoughts on how to make it a successful event. While all these ideas were welcome, we weren’t really ready to take note.
We are now. The first general meeting of people wishing to assist in the organisation of Aussie Nash Hash 2011 will be held on Tuesday 16th June, starting at 7:00pm at the Italian Club 77 Federal Street, North Hobart.
This meeting will be used to ‘brainstorm’ the various aspects that go to make up a good hash event in order to provide soon-to-be-appointed sub-committees with a brief on their allocated areas. The bar will be open (buy your own) to assist in the process of making unintelligible scribblings on paper. We realise that the holding of this meeting in Hobart on a weeknight precludes many northern folk from attending, however we do encourage participation from all hashers and will make available notes from the meeting to all clubs and interested persons for additional comment.
If you have half a mind (all that’s required to go hashing) to input into this event, please attend. If you have further questions, please contact publicity hound Herr Flick or any of the other more appropriate persons listed below.

We will be back in Aus in a week for Joshua's wedding and the birth of our first Grandchild (Yep it finally happenend) and will be coming back to Tas for a flying visit, hope we can catch up with everyone.

HHH Hash Trash 21 May 2009 - Burnie H3 AGPU!
The winner of this year's Bone Idol contest will be announced this Saturday at the galah Burnie AGPU finals night to be held at the Gawler Opera House.
Last year's winner, A Bit of This, has been Bone Idol for twelve months and will now relinquish her title to a worthy finalist. The first and second runners-up will be declared Bony Joints, with other awards going to Funny Bone (On Sec), Bare Bones (Cash), Bone Dry (Hops), Point the Bone (Lip), Bone Lazy (Trailmaster), Give a Dog a Bone (Hawker), Bad to the Bone (Monk) and Boned Up (Web Wanker)
The final is preceded by a red carpet tour hosted by Ratchet, starting at 4pm from 1054 Isandula Rd, Gawler.
Valet parking will cost $10 and please bring along a plate of something to share and drinks for the after-party.
I'm Boned Up, and soon you may be too.

Once again the future of Burnie Hash's finest and fittest (and a few other layabouts) is placed into the hands of a hasher from DickHead hash, this time for a trek to Mt Pillinger. I've never even heard of it, let alone had a keen desire to walk to (or up) it, but Dyke has and he's the hasher in charge.
Bring a hat, mug, joke, friend, day-walk gear, lunch, and money for pub tea.
Meet at the Big Apple, 104 Mersey Main Road, Spreyton at 7:30am sharp for convoy to the drop zone.

It's official
Tasmania has secured the rights to host Aussie Nash Hash 2011. Celebrating tonight - work starts on our return.
