The r*n starts at 4:30pm SHARP from the boat ramp at Sisters Beach (follow Irbys Road into Sisters Beach then turn left at Bridge Street, next right Kenelm Avenue then follow through to the end of Irby Boulevard). Proclamations by the incoming JMs aside, this is the last of the ‘summer r*ns’, with our regular starting time on resumption after the AGPU and Easter moving to the 3:30pm winter schedule.

Bring a hat, mug, JOKE, $8 for food and bucket, and a bucket for sand. Bring extra cash for a chance to fiddle with Grizzly’s ball bag. You may win a raffle prize, too

The Joint Masters - after weeks of deliberation, consultation and procrastination - have declared that this year’s Burnie HHH AGPU will have TWO themes… Country AND Western!

Yee and Haw (aka Ringo and Urang) will be presenting the Golden Gut-Arse Awards on Saturday 14th April 2007 from the Tumworth c*untry music hall (otherwise known as the shed at the back of King Kommunications, North Terrace, Burnie)

The evening starts with R*n 888 starting at 6:30 from the car park at the (country and) western end of (C*unt and) West Beach, followed by a nose bag and the Golden Gut-Arse awards ceremony

$25 will get you a three course meal, some grog*, a badge, (?)entertainment and the world-famous BH3 Anal Report

The 2006/07 Burnie Hash year draws to a close this week, and hare Grizzly has chosen the Penguin tip as the place to impress the Joint Masters with a Bolt Error of a r*n or to make a complete Cocque Cup.

The r*n starts at the daylight spending adjusted time of 4:30pm from Montgomery Road, Penguin (head up Ironcliffe Road and turn left about 1.3km past the Penguin Sports Centre). The on on will be at the former restaurant formerly known as Montys.

Bring a hat, mug, JOKE and $8 for food and bucket. Bring extra cash for a chance to rummage around in Grizzly’s sack.

To be held from Ulverstone following a very tortuous route of around 45km on bicycles (non motorized) visiting at least 7 pubs for refreshment during expedition.
Trophy presentation dinner to be held on Sat night 25/08/2007 with short recovery ride on 26/08/2007.

Not having the whole list of email addresses, and Griz being off with BH3 pack-minor gallivanting to the City of Hot Air, this e-mail will be sent in the traditional lazy hash manner by just Replying to All and hoping it gets to the necessary Some.
BH3 pack-major will continue to hold the fort in fine hashing tradition, not nominating anyone for the hashit in absentia (even you Griz), but this is not a promise really.
The r*n this week will be set by Nicer Pair-a-Tiffs from the ducking pond at Romaine Park, Upper Burnie, with the on on a merry matter at the House of Hump.

Greetings from Aussie Nash Hash 2007

Nash Hash may have just started (last night) but already it's been a big couple of days. It started for the Burnie contingent with the Red Dress run on Thursday, with Urang and Phay Wray making the Canberra Times (pictorially) and others reportedly making the WIN news.

Straight after the Red Dress we tackled the Over 100kg r*n, ensuring that most were well lubricated by the end of the day.

Yesterday morning we all registered and claimed our goodies bag - a nice cooler-type carry bag, polo top, mug or goblet and assorted 'giveaways'.

Last night's opening ceremony started with a streaker, who cannot be named but we'll call him 'Spoof'. He was a bit disappointed that no security guards tried to tackle him.

There was a bit of a problem with the beer to start with, but eventually it flowed. The food was plentiful and the band had most gyrating on the 'dance floor' well into the night.

Today is the first of the runs and the temperature is meant to hit 34 degrees, so we may not tackle the ball-breaker.

Photos will be uploaded to the Burnie Hash Flickr site shortly, but be warned - Lone Arranger has taken shots of just about every Nash Hasher, so finding incriminating photos of local hashers may be harder to find than you expect (but they're there).
