HHH Burnie Hash Trash May 18

This week’s hare has earned an automatic Hashit nomination by declaring Sunday’s trail as a mud run. Lone Arranger cannot be placated. Regardless, Chunder will set forth, not from Forth but from Oldina Forest Reserve, Nursery Road, Oldina.

The pack will set off in chase of the hare at 3:30pm, Ringo-adjusted time.

Bring a hat, mug, joke and $10 plus change. Bring a change of clothes to be safe. It will also be the 25th r*n for DeeTee, so come prepared.

We have 17 booked for Waratah already, so be sure to get in early to secure one of the remaining 23 beds for the Burnie 900th weekend on 4th-5th August. The cost will be $60, which includes two r*ns with circle, badge, accommodation evening meal and cooked breakfast. Bargain! You can e-mail your booking to this e-mail address, but we do need payment prior to the weekend to make sure that we’re not holding empty rooms.

Not an official Hash event, but all-comers are invited to a cracker of a night at Ringo and Dini’s on 26th May. BYO everything.

The Burnie leg of the Global Harriettes R*n on Saturday 7th July (07.07.07) has been moved to a breakfast r*n to allow NW hashers to afro-up for the Combined Hobart Hashers Ball that same evening. More details on the GHR to come. The ball details can be found on both the Burnie ( and Trashmania ( blog sites.

Don’t forget the Highland Fling over the June long weekend, which will again be an official Burnie r*n – details on the Trashmania blog.

If you’re not Flinging, head to C-Max in Devonport for GoneAgain’s COFE fundraiser (see for details).

On on
